About Deus   Cielo    M.D. Dr. Deus Cielo received his medical degree from the Dartmouth School of Medicine and Brown Medical School in 1996. He remained at Brown where he completed his internship in general surgery, as well as his residency training in neurological surgery. After completion of his training, he joined the neurosurgical faculty at Brown where he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. Dr. Cielo specializes in adult General Neurosurgery. His practice includes patients with arthritic/degenerative diseases of the spine, peripheral nerve disorders, as well as both benign and malignant tumors of the brain and spine.

Other Team Members: Dr. Cielo works with a team of clinical and administrative professionals who collaborate to provide your care. They include nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clerical staff and residents. The latter are fully licensed physicians obtaining specialty training. When you arrive for your appointment, you will meet Trisha, Dr. Cielo’s secretary. She handles scheduling and can answer non-medical questions.
