John Donahue, M.D. Research Interests

John E. Donahue, M.D., assistant professor of pathology at Brown Medical School, is board-certified in both neurology and neuropathology. He shares clinical responsibility for the surgical, neuromuscular, and autopsy neuropathology services and also serves as a neuropathology consultant to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner.

Dr. Donahue has research interests in degenerative diseases, epilepsy, and cerebral neoplasms. He is currently examining the expression of both RAGE receptors and again in the choroid plexus of both Alzheimer's disease and normal brains.
